Simu Liu stars as Marvel Comics superhero Shang-Chi in this fantasy action adventure directed by Destin Daniel Cretton. Despite growing up in a powerful family in the mountains of China who are responsible for the mystical weapons known as the ten rings, Shang-Chi moves to San Francisco and goes under the name of Shaun where he leads an ordinary life working as a valet. However, one day he comes under attack from a gang who steal one of Shaun's pendants, which forces him to admit to best friend Katy (Awkwafina) about his true origins. Reacquainting with his estranged family Shang-Chi must finally face his destiny.
